AUTHOR: NAD Stewardship

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence."

Colossians 1:15-18 NKJV

**********

Pastor Dick Hanson, a stewardship educator, has said:

“Stewardship is the most important aspect of the Christian‟s life. It specifies what a relationship with Christ is like. Without it every spiritual discipline is worthless and meaningless. It is foundational to living life on this earth and will be the model for life in eternity.”

God-centered living is a way of life it goes way beyond money, tithes, or offerings. It permeates every activity, thought, and becomes a principle for making life choices. Jesus becomes the central theme of the faithful steward‘s life and living becomes a quest with one purpose, one goal: To please Him and represent Him in every setting and circumstance. This is accomplished through daily dependence on Him and the receiving of the gift of the Holy Spirit in the life.

The faithful steward‘s life seeks to give Him ―preeminence in all things.

Appeal: Our offering today is for the special programs of our Conference.
