Dick Hanson, a stewardship educator says: "Stewardship is the most important aspect of the Christian's life. It specifies what a relationship with Christ is like. Without it every spiritual discipline is worthless and meaningless. It is foundational to living life on this earth and will be the model for life in eternity."

The Bible says it this way:

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17ESV

Do “everything” for Christ. The word everything has a pretty comprehensive meaning. It means you cannot separate your religious and business life, nor your recreating or social interactions. Your choices and the things you watch and read. What you put in your body. All these things are areas of consideration for the faithful steward.

Appeal: The Church seeks to be a place where faithful stewards can prosper and grow in the grace of Jesus Christ. Our offering today will go to support the ministries of our Church. Let’s pray.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us to be faithful in every area of our lives. We want to honor You in all things. In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
