Stewardship Honor at Gillette

The 2024 International Pathfinder Camporee in Gillette, Wyoming is around the corner, and we know that many of your Pathfinder clubs will be attending.  We will be teaching the Stewardship Honor Class on the main Cam-Plex site where the camping and most of the activities will be located.

Honors classes open at noon on Tuesday, August 6. The Stewardship class will start every two hours and will be open every day, including Sabbath.

Besides the two-hour class, each Pathfinder needs to complete a four-hour community service project to complete the stewardship honor.  This can be done ahead of time, at the camporee, or after returning home.  Projects done ahead of time need leader verification; for any of the community service projects offered during the camporee, the Pathfinder will need to prove their participation by showing the community service pin.

Those who have completed both the class and the community service project will receive the Stewardship Patch—free!—while supplies last.  Anyone who takes the class, whether they’ve finished their community service project or not, will receive a Stewardship Jack light-up pin and a North American Division pin.

Please pass this info to your pathfinder leaders!  Once the honors building opens they can come to our honor space to preregister their group for the class.  (All groups that preregister must arrive five minutes ahead of the scheduled start time or the registration will be cancelled.) Standby individuals and groups will be accepted as spaces are available.

Don’t miss your chance to complete this honor and get your patch onsite!
