The North American Division is in full throttle for Pentecost 2025. Many churches have applied for the (up to) $3,000 financial aid per meeting site. So far there are close to 2,500 churches registered. The deadline for applications is December 31, but don’t wait.
Besides letting you know about the funds available we hope you’ll encourage the churches involved in Pentecost 2025 to have Financial Wellness “nuggets” during the meetings prior to the evangelistic presentation. Or even make yourselves available to engage the community with Personal Finances Seminars prior to the event. Sometimes, the community will attend health seminars or financial seminars more than Bible study seminars. One resource to consider is the free book Faith and Finance: FaithFinance_LeadersGuide_.pdf (nadstewardship.org). It has several topics that are relevant to most Americans, such as
- Why Money Management is Important.
- Dealing with Debt – Getting Out and Staying Out.
- Making a Budget – Counting the Cost.
- Major Purchases: Housing, Automobiles
- Saving and Investing.
This is just one option. There are many resources out there that will help you engage the community and/or the local church regarding the stewardship of money.
Last but not least, if you have one of these seminars, or someone in the local church has a financial wellness seminar, please let us know so we can count how many churches are teaching these financial principles during Pentecost 2025.
