I want to share with you a money-saving idea for Vacation Bible School (VBS). I belong to the Atholton SDA Church here in the Chesapeake Conference.
My church puts a lot of emphasis on making very good Vacation Bible Schools which this year happened in the last week of June. The leaders went all out with decorations for our VBS, but the neat thing is that they partner with two other churches and the three churches work together to create one set of decorations which they all share as each church uses all the materials on different weeks for their VBS.
Let’s be good stewards of God’s resources and partner with other churches in your conference that are close by so more people benefit from all the time and energy spent in materials and decorations. My prayer is that children will be blessed by the VBS programs being presented in the local churches.
