Our conference is a sisterhood of various congregations. Some congregations are small, while others are larger but we all belong to the same conference. The conference is a coordinating organization for all of the congregations in its territory. Evangelism, youth programs, and Christian education are just some areas the conference coordinates and supports with the offerings we give. Today, the offering is for the conference advance, an offering that will be used throughout our territory. Some of it may be used to plant new churches, operate youth camps, and provide Christian education and other youth programs.
Thank you for supporting the conference advance offering. And, thank you for returning a faithful tithe. At the beginning of the year, we need to remind ourselves of the blessings we receive because of being faithful stewards.
