Today’s offering: Our Church Budget
As Jesus was teaching on the mountain side, He shared eternal principles of life in the kingdom of God. One in particular is recorded in Matthew 7:12 which states, “… in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Some have called this the golden rule. Everyone likes to be treated well. Everyone likes the feeling of being respected and cared for. That’s why we exist as a church.
Many of us were without hope until someone reached out and introduced us to Jesus. Perhaps others of us were lonely and isolated, until someone invited us to became part of the family of God. We thank the Lord for our Church family, a community where this principle is lived out. The offering we present to the Lord in our worship in giving today will support the ministry of our local Church. Thank you in advance for your faithfulness.
Let’s pray, “Lord, we are so glad to be part of the family of God, we’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by Your blood, we are joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod, yes Lord, we are so glad to be part of the family of God” Please bless the gifts we present to You today. Bless our Church family as we continue to bless others, In Jesus name we pray, Amen
