Today’s offering: World Budget / Disaster & Famine Relief emphasis
In Matthew 25, Jesus refers to a group of people that win His praise at the end of time because of their self-sacrificing giving and service. He describes them to be a people that give food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, clothes and lodging to those in need, medication and care to the sick, and visits to those in prison.
Jesus tells them that every time they responded to a need of His children, it was as if they were doing it to Him. This group doesn’t seek recognition or fame. They do it because of their love for God and people.
Seventh-day Adventists continue to be active in reaching out to those in need. Our offering today is for our world budget that provides support for disaster and famine relief around the world. Thank you for your faithfulness. It’s making a difference one life at a time!
Let’s pray, “Lord, please accept our gifts today and multiply them to meet the great needs around our world. We long for the day when disasters and famines will be a thing of the past. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Come! In Your name we pray, Amen.
