Today’s offering: Our Conference
What gift would you give to the person who puts gas in your vehicle? What about the attendant at the grocery store? Ok, how about the person who pilots the plane that you will be on in the near future? What about the doctor that attended your last visit?
Would your gift be the same for each one, or would it be different? And why? Each one is providing a service. Each one has the potential to do what they do very well. And yet, realistically, the gifts would be different based on certain criteria like, how well we know them or even more, how big of an impact their service was on our lives.
David writes in Psalm 29:2, “Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” What kind of gifts can we bring to God today that would best represent the glory due His name?
Let’s pray, “Lord, we’ve come today to worship You. We bring ourselves, our gifts, our talents and our money. . You are worthy of the best…You are holy. We hope our worship will be as beautiful to You as Your holiness is to us. We give you our hearts and ask You to take it and re-make it into Your beauty, Your holiness, and for Your glory. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.”
