Today’s offering: Our Church Budget
In Psalm 8:4 David asks the question, “What is Man? Has anyone ever asked you the question, “Just who do you think you are?” David helps us understand that we have been created by God and given the awesome responsibility of having dominion over all that God has created on the land, in the air and in the sea. What a great partnership; God creates and we manage His creation. That’s who you are!
The offering that we give today is for our Church. It will help pay for our utilities, materials, programs and so much more. The reality is God doesn’t need our money, He needs us! God needs our time, our abilities and of course our faithfulness in giving our money to help accomplish our dreams as a church family.
Let’s pray, “Lord, thank for creating us and caring for us. We are not worthy to manage all you have created. But because you’ve designed your world order that way, we trust you and ask you to empower, lead and guide us to be the most effective managers of your kingdom we can be. Please bless our time, our abilities, and the tithes and offerings we bring as our worship. For we pray this in Jesus name, Amen.”
