―Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father‘s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.‖ John 14:1-4 NKJV

Many Seventh-day Adventists upon hearing the words: ―Lift of the trumpets and loud let them ring, Jesus is coming again…‖ almost immediately think of the Voice of Prophecy. This has been the theme song for many years but it is also the message being proclaimed from this vital radio ministry.

The founder, H.M.S. Richards served as an evangelist in various places in the United States and Canada. In the 1920s in California he began experimenting with radio announcements for his meetings. He began regular radio broadcasts on October 19, 1929 on KNX (AM) in Los Angeles. (Next Friday will be the 83rd anniversary) As they say, ―the rest is history.‖

Appeal: Today‘s offering is for the World Budget, one recipient of World Budget funds is the Voice of Prophecy‘s radio and Bible School ministries.
