“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8 NKJV
God longs for us to acknowledge him as the provider of all things. In this New Year it would be good to make the needs of our church here and around the world a subject of our prayers. In these economic times it would be easy to feel like we will not be able to meet our needs. Aren’t you glad that God’s blessings are not dependent on our feelings?
He has the provisions that will carry us through these times and in fact prosper us in the things that are truly important. But we must ask Him.
Let’s make a New Year’s resolution that is actually carried out. A resolution to pray daily, and more often as needed, for the needs in our church and the proclamation of the Three Angels’ messages to a hurting planet.
Appeal: Our church has many needs and we, its members, are the only ones that can meet those needs. So today, in this New Year, with God’s blessings, we give a portion of what He has provided to us for the building up of His Kingdom.
